geek brain dump should have an app for windows 8

Old 10 Comments on geek brain dump should have an app for windows 8 20

I have a Nokia lumia 920. I cant get on certain pages with my phone, for some weird reason. If geek brain dump had a smartphone app. It would be easier to use. Faster to respond. It could even be a good source of revenue for geekbraindump.com. Windows 8.1 does suck, but I can’t seem to find the XP version online at all. Yes I recommend XP over 8.1. My phone has an awesome camera. Thats the reason i bought it. I  believe Windows would look a whole lot better with a geek brain dump logo or something like that. lol I don’t know if there is one for Iphone or Android, but there should be one. Its just a suggestion, but i bet there could be a good profit. also i don’t have a very good WIFI connection. So i could use my 4g LTE and get stuff uploaded faster.I could help design it if you wanted.  I know there are some people that are reading this saying ” make it free” ,or ” Why 8.1″ Answer is simple. As easy as it would be to make it free, i’m not sure you can  publish apps for free on any of the smartphone markets. The reason for 8.1, is because thats what my phone run. Believe me i would change it if i could but no funds. Ios and android would also benefit from having it. It is an awesome idea in my opinion, and i look forward to hearing about it later on, maybe on the youtube page Eli The Computer Guy. P.s. Keep up the good work GBD.

I'm a senior in High School. I live in oklahoma. I am currently in Votech for Computer systems. I plan on combining the knowledge of computers with the art that is working on cars. so you might buy a car where the steering wheel boots into XP, when you start the car lol

Dom, have you ever researched web-based apps? I’m not sure if you can see this on non-iOS devices, but take a read here..

What anger will drive some people to do.

I access Geek Brain Dump mainly on my computer, but sometimes on my iPad, so I do not see a reason for an app, really. Now, unless some how Eli could have it pull ‘ITEMS ON SALE’ at retailers and online websites and an alert goes off. Then yes, that I can use. Kind of like the Apps Gone Free.

    https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/apps-gone-free-best-daily/id470693788?mt=8

It alerts its users when mainstream apps are free for a limited time on the Apple App Store.

So, that app would be great!

No problem, it should pull up if you search on your phone. The desktop version needed an meta update for the search to find it.

Could you make one for Microsoft silverlight. My IT class goes through a site called testout.com and they use simulations that require it, but i can’t download it from the microsoft website. My phone doesn’t seem to like running programs from internet explorer. I cant even download chrome or firefox lol.

I mostly make apps for Sony, but Microsoft gave me free stuff… lol. So I might as well make apps for Windows.
