    Snapchat is valued at 10 billion (which might be a little high, but is still a reasonable estimate) because of reasons listed in your article. Some college students use it more than Facebook. Facebook is valued around 200 billion, and college students are a prime demographic for tech companies. You do the math. One of the incredible things about new tech startups is that they don’t need to make money right away. It’s about first creating a product that people want, and then looking for a way to make money off of it.
