What’s your basic build for a PC ?

Old 3 Comments on What’s your basic build for a PC ? 47

I have settled on the following basic build for PCs.

Windows 7 SP1 (32bit but increasingly 64bit- reasons for 32bit are numerous so no suggestions on this please)

Malware Bytes (Free)

CCleaner (Free)

Eusing Registry Cleaner (Free)

Logmein Remote access

Adobe Reader X + Foxit Reader

IE9-11 + Chrome + Opera (Gave up on Firefox – nobody liked it !)

Office 2013

Macrium Reflect

Piriform Recuva

WSUS Offline

I think that’s about it for a basic build – too much? too little? all depends I suppose on your environment but anyone got anything to add? Always nice to know what others are doing.

Is this is base image deployment or are you installing all this manually? CCleaner and Eusing is a bit of a double up. Also in prior exp, adobe and foxit tend not to play nicely together. All in all its about what I would do.
