Office 2013 slow to respond ?

Some of my users are complaining that Office 2013 is unresponsive and sluggish ! A little digging on, what has become my 2nd/3rd Line Support dept., Google ! – throws up the following fix which seems to have worked.

From any Office 2013 product – I chose Word – go to

File/Options/Advanced – Go to the Display section – and the 3rd from bottom option should be

“Disable Hardware Graphics Acceleration” – tick the box – Click OK and close all Office 2013 products. The setting will be applied to all Office 2013 applications.

Hope this helps

Great catch there John, I didn’t know this option even existed. It might help out a lot of users running older hardware!
