Easily RIP YouTube and Online Videos and Transfer Them to Your Mobile Device

I get asked on an ongoing basis why I don’t create a podcasts or other ways that my fans can easily download my videos so that they can watch them offline.  And every time I am asked this question I just shake my head and try to to respond without a horribly snarky response.

The reason I want to be snarky is because there are countless ways to download my videos from YouTube that don’t involve ME having to spend the time and expense of building and maintaining some kind of additional infrastructure.  If you Google “YouTube Downloader” you will find more options than you would imagine. And being that my fan base is made of geeks, or geek wanna bees it seems like they should be able to figure this out themselves…

The one problem I have seen when I have looked at these downloaders in the past was the problem with how to get the downloaded videos on to your mobile device.  This is especially problematic if you use a Mac as your primary computer and an Android device as your phone.

Wondershare’s new AllMyTube makes the download/ RIP and transfer process a dream.  All you do is install AllMyTube on your PC/Mac, and  Install Wondershare Player on your Mobile Device. Once this is done you go to the Connect area on AllMyTube and scan the QR code there with Wondershare Player on your mobile device.  3 seconds later your computer and mobile device are connected and all you have to do is Right click any videos you have in the Downloaded action on your Computer and select “Transfer to…”

This is truly the best and easiest way to deal with YouTube videos for offline consumption.  They have a free version and a $29 version.  The free version does allow you to do the wireless transfer, but it limits you on video conversion and a few other useful things.  You guys know I always argue that you should buy a product if you like it, and this is definitely worth the money.

I am Eli "the Computer Guy" and have been in the tech industry for approx. 20 years doing all kinds of odd projects. I started as an electronics tech in the US Army, worked in corporate IT during the IT Boom, was an individual consultant and grew my tech shop to have numerous full time employees and supported small business clients with computer repair/ server maintenance/ web development/ surveillance systems/ telephone systems until the great recession. After that I started creating video training on all the topics I know and now have a YouTube Channel with over 500K subscribers. I am the founder of GeekBrainDump.com and my plan is to create a tech "news" site that I would actually find useful if I was still in the server room.
